Tango classes with Lucía & Gerry
Lucía and Gerry together have over 20 years experience dancing Tango. They teach group and private classes for all levels in Buenos Aires. They moved to Ireland in 2021 are organizing their Tango school..
They will be in Cagliari from June 25th to July 1st 2026
The tango meeting will be held in collaboration with the tango school Tango Argentino con Pier Gavino Meridda.
It will included lessons with Lucia & Gerry, practica and visits to locals milongas if available.
Tours in the city, days on the beach and lunches or dinners with the whole group will be organized
TANGO WORKSHOPS
While the workshop are open to everyone, dancers with little experience or those who have recently started learning tango may benefit from attending with a partner.

All workshops are open to dancers of both roles, with active encouragement to explore role exchange for a richer and deeper tango experience.

FRIDAY 26 - 7.30pm - TANGO WORKSHOP 1 - The Method
Via Ada Negri 28
Training in both roles – Mechanics of the embrace – Body awareness – Movement and its consequences – Axis and spirals. A foundational class to understand our teaching method and how these concepts are applied to classic tango figures and elegant dancing on the dance floor.

SATURDAY 27 - 7.45pm -TANGO WORKSHOP 2 - El Rey del compas

D'Arienzo workshop - Recognize the musical elements of D'Arienzo's tango and learn how to express them in your dancing.
Followed by Milonga "Suerte Loca" Tango DJ La flaca Lucia
SUNDAY 28 - 7.30pm - TANGO WORKSHOP 3 - A Journey into Tango Vals
Via Ada Negri 28
Dive into the unique musicality and circular energy of tango vals. In this workshop, we will explore how to adapt tango movements—such as barridas (sweeps) and alterations—to the flowing rhythm of vals.

MONDAY 29 - 7.30pm - TANGO WORKSHOP 4 - The Legacy

The figures used by the milongueros of Buenos Aires . A journey through the repertoire of the old milongueros: movements, ideas, and subtle secrets passed down over time—full of flavor and authenticity.
